This Bespoke Shaker style Kitchen with Acrylic Stone work-surface was designed to fit around the 'L' shaped working area of a Kitchen in Bath.
The Acrylic Stone Work-surface has been jointed on the corner of the 'L' and polished to a seamless mitre joint. The worktop is 36 mm thick and has a Bull-nose moulding on the top and bottom which runs in a sweeping curve around the corner of the 'L' shape.
To the right of the Under-mounted Butler Sink is an Integrated Draining Board which has been recessed into the work-surface.
The Door Frames and Doors of the handmade kitchen units have been beaded with an 8 mm staff bead and the upper wall units are a generous 400 mm deep internally. Because of this extra internal depth the doors have been fitted with Chrome Wire Baskets on the inside to provide convenient access to the extra internal storage space. See previous main page for slide show images of the internal door baskets, bottom of left hand column.
The main rank of wall units, above the Integrated Ceramic Hob, has been symmetrically designed to house a Glass Hooded Extractor Fan. The extractor fan has ducting running along behind the cornice and through the left hand exterior wall.
Below the curved corner of the 'L' shaped work-surface the lower corner cupboard has been fitted with a Pull-and-Swing 'Magic Corner' to provide convenient access to the extra storage space in the corner. For slide show images of the pull and swing 'Magic Corner' see the bottom left hand column of this page, click on the image for enlargements.
Incidentally, as there were no Hanging Pan Racks of the appropriate size available at the time the Black Metal Pan Rack shown in the images was Custom-made by Robert.
The Kitchen Units are Hand Painted in three coats of Farrow and Ball's 'Pointing no.2003'
